This hope,
In the person of Jesus
Toward the future prepared for me
For the fulfillment of His glorious agenda.
This hope,
In the promises of Jesus
Heavenward in focus
Yet grounded in earth-reality
Must be the very anchor for our souls.
This hope,
Is dependable. Steadfast. Unshakeable.
Our doubts and fears can be confronted safely there,
Nestled in the loving security of his assurance.
